From minor wall damage to extensive drywall replacement, ceiling restoration, texture removal, and baseboard installation, our team delivers reliable solutions designed to restore the appearance and functionality of interior spaces.

Whether repairing damage in an occupied apartment, preparing a vacant unit for its next resident, or restoring walls and ceilings in a private residence, we tailor our services to the condition of the property and the approved scope of work.

Our Drywall Services

Small & Large Drywall Repairs

We repair drywall damage ranging from small holes, cracks, and surface imperfections to larger damaged sections requiring replacement.

Our services include patching, surface preparation, joint compound application, sanding, texture restoration, and painting of the repaired area when the required paint is provided by the property.

Water-Damaged Drywall Repair

Water damage can affect the condition and appearance of walls, ceilings, and surrounding materials.

Our team removes damaged drywall when necessary and performs approved repairs or replacement after the underlying moisture issue has been addressed and the affected area is suitable for restoration.

Depending on the condition of the area, services may include damaged material removal, drywall installation, joint compound application, texture restoration, and painting.

Water mitigation, mold remediation, and repairs to the source of moisture are not automatically included in our drywall services.

Drywall Installation & Replacement

We install and replace drywall or sheetrock in designated wall and ceiling areas, including sections removed due to property damage, maintenance work, or approved renovations.

Our services include preparing and finishing the installed drywall according to the project requirements.

Ceiling Repair & Restoration

We provide drywall ceiling repairs for holes, cracks, damaged sections, and areas requiring partial replacement.

Our team performs the necessary drywall installation, joint compound application, sanding, texture restoration, and painting when the required paint is available.

Selective Demolition & Material Removal

When damaged materials must be removed before restoration can begin, Contractors VP provides selective demolition and material removal within the approved work area.

Services may include:

  • Removal of damaged drywall or sheetrock.
  • Removal of damaged or affected baseboards.
  • Removal of designated wall and ceiling sections.
  • Removal of damaged materials before repairs.
  • Preparation of exposed areas for drywall installation and restoration.

Selective demolition is limited to the approved scope of work. Any additional removal requirements must be authorized before proceeding.

Drywall Finishing & Joint Compound Application

Our drywall finishing services include joint compound application, taping, patching, sanding, and surface preparation.

Depending on the condition of the area, multiple applications may be necessary to achieve an appropriate finish before texture application or painting.

Texture Removal & Application

We provide texture removal, surface preparation, and application of various wall and ceiling textures.

Our team works to restore the appearance of repaired areas or create the finish requested for the project.

Texture matching may vary depending on existing materials, application methods, previous repairs, and the condition of surrounding surfaces.

Baseboard Removal & Installation

Our services include removing damaged baseboards and installing replacement baseboards in designated areas.

Baseboard removal and installation may be performed as part of a drywall restoration project or as a separately approved service.

Painting, caulking, and other finishing requirements are performed according to the approved scope of work.

Our Drywall Repair & Restoration Process

1. Damage Assessment

Our team reviews the affected area to identify visible damage and determine the repairs required within the requested scope.

If additional damage is discovered, the condition is documented and reported to our office for further review.

2. Area Protection & Preparation

Before beginning the repair, we take appropriate precautions to protect surrounding floors, fixtures, and surfaces.

Depending on the project, preparation may include covering nearby areas, protecting adjacent materials, and preparing the work area for selective demolition or repair.

3. Selective Demolition & Material Removal

When necessary, damaged drywall, baseboards, or other authorized materials are removed to prepare the affected area for restoration.

Any additional work outside the approved scope requires authorization before proceeding.

4. Drywall Installation & Repair

Our team installs replacement drywall or repairs existing surfaces according to the approved work requirements.

This may include installing new drywall sections, securing patches, repairing damaged surfaces, and preparing the area for finishing.

5. Joint Compound & Surface Finishing

Joint compound and appropriate finishing materials are applied to seams, joints, patches, and repaired surfaces.

Sanding and additional applications may be required to achieve a smooth and properly prepared surface.

6. Texture Application

When required, texture is applied to the repaired area to achieve an appearance consistent with the surrounding surfaces or the requested finish.

7. Painting & Final Finishing

Painting of the repaired area is included as part of our standard drywall repair service, provided that the property supplies the appropriate paint at the time of service.

Primer application is available for an additional charge and is not included in the standard drywall repair price.

8. Final Cleanup

After completing the approved work, our team removes protective materials and makes reasonable efforts to clean dust, debris, and waste generated by our services.

Our goal is to leave the affected work area clean, presentable, and ready for use or any subsequent authorized work.

Drywall Service Policies & Workmanship

Approved Scope & Additional Damage

All drywall services are performed according to the approved scope of work.

If additional damage or unexpected conditions are discovered during demolition or repair, our team documents the findings and reports them to our office.

Any additional services or charges must be reviewed and approved by the property manager or authorized representative before proceeding.

Water Damage & Moisture Conditions

Drywall restoration following water damage should begin only after the source of moisture has been addressed and the affected area is suitable for repair.

Our drywall services do not automatically include plumbing repairs, water mitigation, mold remediation, or other specialized corrective services.

If conditions requiring additional assessment or specialized treatment are identified, the property will be notified before restoration continues.

Painting Included with Drywall Repairs

Painting of the repaired area is included in the standard drywall repair service when the property provides the appropriate paint at the time of the scheduled repair.

If the required paint is unavailable, the painting portion may need to be completed during a separate visit and may result in additional charges.

Primer application is not included in the standard drywall repair price and is available for an additional charge.

Painting beyond the repaired area, including entire walls or additional surfaces, must be specified in the approved scope of work.

Texture & Paint Matching

Our team makes reasonable efforts to achieve a finish consistent with surrounding surfaces.

However, exact texture and paint matching cannot be guaranteed due to differences in existing materials, surface conditions, application methods, paint age, color, and sheen.

Baseboard Installation & Finishing

Baseboard removal and installation are performed according to the approved scope.

Any required painting, caulking, or additional finishing beyond the authorized work must be confirmed before the service is performed.

Property Protection & Cleanup

Contractors VP takes reasonable precautions to protect surrounding surfaces during drywall repairs and restoration.

Our team removes debris generated by the approved service and makes reasonable efforts to leave the affected area
